Northern Border Running Club is hosting a 1-mile road race on the 4th of July in Derby, taking place immediately before the parade, on the parade route!  The 1-mile point to point course will start at the Derby Elks and finish at the North Country Union Junior High on Main St.  There will be parking available in typical spectator areas, or we will have a dedicated lot for participants at the Farmyard Store on Route 5.

The 1-mile Course:  

The race will start in front of the Derby Elks at approximately 9:45, immediately before the start of the parade.  The race will run north on Route 5, taking a right onto Main Street and finishing in front of the crowds at the NCU Jr. High!  Link to the course map can be found here.

How to Participate:

The race will be FREE to run, and we will accept optional race-day donations which will be passed on to the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association 26-4.   This race will be pre-registration ONLY, with no race day signups to aid with logistics. Please use this link to register, and we will also take signups at the final Run The North 5k in Newport on June 30!
